What should I wear aboard a Costa cruise?

You can generally dress as you please on a Costa cruise, although slightly more formal dress is expected for the gala dinner.

Is smoking allowed on board a Costa cruise?


Smoking is allowed only in the areas designated ‘Cigar Lounge’, outdoor smoking points equipped with ashtrays, and private outdoor balconies. Always remain respectful and dispose of ashes and used cigarettes in the ashtrays provided.

Can I use the internet aboard a Costa cruise?


Yes. An internet connection is available through a satellite connection to the ships of the fleet. Connection can be acquired and purchased through a variety of packages at the onboard Internet Point.

What is a Costa Card?

A personal Costa Card allows passengers to cover all onboard purchases. It works through a cash deposit or by connection to a credit or debit card.

Can I change cabins once on board a Costa cruise?

Yes, provided that one is available, and if the difference in rate can be paid. Please make any requests for changes immediately after boarding at Customer Services.

How many Costa ships are there?

There are 9 Costa ships: the Costa Smeralda, Toscana, Firenze, Deliziosa, Diadema, Fascinosa, Favolosa, Pacifica, and Fortuna.
