China: COVID-19 Coronavirus Outbreak (Formerly Pneumonia Outbreak in Wuhan City)

The continued advice is against all but essential travel to mainland China (not including Hong Kong and Macau). The team at Imagine Cruising are working closely with our travel partners to fully understand the potential impact on future travel arrangements to the region, with an immediate focus on those who are currently on holiday, or who are travelling in the next week.

If you have been notified by your cruise line that your itinerary has been cancelled or you are due to travel to mainland China, you will be entitled to a refund if we are unable to find suitable alternative travel arrangements. We are working in a strict departure date priority to ensure we find suitable alternatives for customers who are due to depart imminently. If you are not due to travel imminently our team will be in contact with you as soon as they can to discuss you individual booking options. We are aware of your booking and we ask you to please bear with us during this time. If however, you have already seen an alternative holiday on our website, please contact us and we will be happy to confirm your alternative arrangements.

Travelling on a China Tour

Our team are currently contacting customers due to tour mainland China up to and including 29th February. Due to the volume of passengers affected, we do appreciate your patience while we work with our cruise partners to seek suitable alternative travel arrangement for you. If alternative arrangements are not possible, we will be offering a full refund.

Cruise Line Itinerary Amendments

We are continuing to monitor the situation and continue to work closely with our cruise lines, airlines and land suppliers. We are currently assisting passengers travelling within the next 7 days and we appreciate your patience during this time. Please be aware that the situation is changing rapidly, with updates altering daily. If you’re due to travel beyond this period, we will continue to work with our partners to ensure we have the most up to date information regarding your travel arrangements before contacting you.

Important Information: Travel Restrictions

Cruise Line medical experts are coordinating closely with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) to implement control measures for their ships. As part of these measures, guests and crew who have travelled recently from or through mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau within the last 30 days or hold a Chinese, Hong Kong, or Macau passport may not be permitted to board their ships. This policy does differ by cruise line and we strongly recommend you visit your cruise lines’ website for the most up to date information and travel policies regarding your individual itinerary.
